Stratagia Online is set in a world of sixteen states, each with its own capital. You start as a lord with a single town and a Town Hall. You make it the seat of an empire of many cities.
Grow food, wood, stone and iron, and collect gold in taxes. Upgrade twenty kinds of buildings and study eighteen technologies. Train twelve kinds of troops and hire heroes to lead them. March on barbarian towns, valleys and other players. Join an alliance, then take historic cities and make rivals your colonies.
The game is free to play and runs in your web browser, with nothing to download. The open alpha is coming soon, so watch this page or sign up for the newsletter to hear when it opens.

Build your city
Twenty buildings, from farms and quarries to the Academy and the Walls, each up to level ten.
Raise an army
Twelve troop types, five kinds of wall defenses and heroes who lead your marches and level up.
Fight for the map
Take valleys, barbarian towns and over two thousand historic cities, or make other lords your colonies.
Stand together
Alliances of up to 100 lords with chat, mail, diplomacy, shared defense and an elected Emperor each week.

From the alpha
Alpha placeholder art. Where it applies, the artwork, styling and assets you see in Stratagia Online are temporary stand-ins. They let us build and test the game faster while our wonderful art team creates the real thing, and they'll be replaced as that work lands.

Questions
Do I need to download anything?+−
No. Stratagia Online runs in your web browser. You sign in on the website and press Play.
Can I play on my phone?+−
Yes. The game adapts to phone screens, with a scrolling row of commands under the map.
How do alliances and PvP work?+−
Lords in an alliance cannot attack each other and can station troops in each other's cities. New lords are protected for 7 days or until their Town Hall reaches level 5.
Is it free?+−
Yes. Stratagia Online is free to play. Optional purchases are planned, and we'll share the details before they arrive.
When can I play?+−
The open alpha is coming soon. We will post here and send a newsletter when it opens.
Will my progress carry over?+−
No. Accounts and cities from the alpha and beta will be wiped before launch, so everyone starts fresh.
